A jillion different streams of energy flowing into & thru this visible hub we call “body”, reflected back in a jillion ways…
some low energy streams manifest as thoughts that create a delusion about a (nonexistent) me that is supposedly confined in a bag of curiously shaped & colored skin, that is supposed to not be connected to anything … creating a loneliness that compels a continuous, fruitless, addiction to seeking connection …
a connection which is revealed to already exist … if we cease the fruitless seeking.
Consider the hub we call “lungs” … how the stream of air we inhale, connects us with all life, how the oxygen flowing from photosynthesizing creatures, animates our life thru the lungs naturally, effortlessly, unthinkingly functioning, and our exhalation is reflected back into the stream, now laden with carbon dioxide for other creatures. Where does “I” begin and “I” end?
And there are a jillion such hubs …. eyes, skin, nose, each cell a hub for energy flows … and if the body is placed in deep space & is disconnected from those streams … death. Also the fate of a brain that believes its thoughts are not reflections of the Universe flowing into it… and after flowing thru the brain, become reflections for other hubs like other brains to receive.
Consider … is the Mississippi River really a separate thing? … is it not intimately connected with every molecule of water on the planet!
Each life form, a hub of connections with other lives, all in relationship with everything else. It’s one very very very busy & vibrant universe!!
“Survival of the fittest” …. ain’t!!
It’s life, eternally in relational connection, cooperating & collaborating.
